In searching for simplicity and self-evidence in my work, I became interested in assembly, an essential component in furniture making. By adding coherency and an esthetic dimension to hand-mounted furniture, they no longer need to be hidden, and their usefulness becomes even more appreciable. “Les Ensembles” are the result of this reflection: a proposal for furniture one can build oneself, from a range of six hand-mounted components made of metal and wooden panels.
